  • Managed multi-site environmental remediation program ($200K to $1M per Site); responsible for budget, schedule and project scope development and control resulting in on-time and on-budget project from initial plans through project completion

    • Recipient of AECOM Deliver-to-Win Award for quality and budget compliance improvements.

    • Spearheaded alignment of multiple project teams improving quality and consistency of deliverables resulting in a savings in excess of $75K in report development costs.

  • Led team in development of 500+ Job Safety Assessments during $400M upgrade project at largest advanced wastewater treatment plant (370M gal/day) resulting in a safe integration of over 8,000 assets and new processes into routine and emergency operations and maintenance activities.

  • Took sabbatical to advance renovations in our 1876 Victorian home (see Victorian Home page). 

    • Demolished and disposed of 27 tons of plaster and debris; work included removing 2 interior chimneys by hand.

    • Replaced black pipe for steam boiler.

    • Restored original steam radiators.

    • Designed and installed foundation and four structural I-beams to open up first floor and replace buckling beams in basement; work included digging out and installing 6 footers.

    • Framed out attic walls to install utility room and bathroom.

  • Established partnerships with University of Florida and Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), and served as project lead on nanoscale zero-valent iron injection pilot study to remediate chlorinated solvent impacted groundwater and test passive flux technology as part of the Florida DEP Dry Cleaners Program.

  • Planned and implemented $20M UST upgrade program at over 100 NYC sites addressing regulatory compliance deficiencies with 5 days of total facility down time and less than 3% change orders.

  • Developed and conducted annual contractor technical and safety training resulting in turn-over of high quality facilities on time, on budget with zero loss time injuries.

  • Successfully and safely completed over 12 new facility builds, 20 retro-fit projects (core/shell upgrades), 50+ UST system upgrades, and various special projects ($100K to $2M per project).
